In the two years we have been operating we have worked very hard developing and embedding our Health and Safety culture. This achievement has served to affirm all that we have done and will continue to do in order to ensure the safety of all we come into contact with during the course of our work.
You may have noticed some rather large fences going up along State Highway 1 near the Tawera Road intersection. We have been very busy with our involvement in the road widening project for the NZTA building a series of huge acoustic fences to help provide a quieter environment for local residents. Take a look of the structure from the back of one of the fences; check out the size of the poles!
We’ve also been busy building along the side of the new Kamo Pathway. The rear view of the beautiful residential fence below warms my heart. Beautiful work by the team.
Along with the residential fencing next to the pathway, we have been installing railway crossings at various places along the railway line. It’s great to see infrastructure being put in place to encourage walking and bike riding.
Our Rural Fencing Team have been roaring around the countryside producing excellent results. Here’s an example of their determination and skills. A typical Maungatapere scene; a paddock full of rocks and most of them on top of the desired fence line. It didn’t stop our team, they got it sorted in a timely professional fashion.
